The living will have to survive amongst the dead in this game based on The Walking Dead, the widely acclaimed comic book series and television series. Across five dark and emotional episodes of gameplay, every decision and action you take can result in the entire story of the game changing around you.

Play as Lee Everett, a convicted criminal, who has been given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead. With corpses returning to life and survivors stopping at nothing to maintain their own safety, protecting an orphaned girl named Clementine may offer him redemption in a world gone to hell.

Game buzz for The Walking Dead

Couldn't decide what to play next, so I just went back in and nabbed that Rock, Paper, Scissors achievement. 5th game I've 100%ed.

    • I still need to give this game a play on Steam.

I bought it for my phone a few years back, so I could play at work during breaks. XD

    • Lol @Mikhaila, I did the same thing with TT's 2nd WD game. The one day I was taking what was supposed to be a 10 min break to smoke a cig. I sat down in my van, light my smoke, & fired up the game. Well 2 smokes & almost an hr later I realized how much of a bad idea playing games at work was! XD

Fortunately, I am the crew leader of my companies carpentry crew so I can get away with stuff like that. Although I never really take advantage of my posistion. I think it's really f'd up when a supervisor just hangs out all day & has his guys do all the work. Also my guys will go the extra mile for me since I actually work with them not just supervise them.

Steam has a sale on for this at the moment. 75% off, so roughly 6USD.

I might pick Season 2 up. Both Seasons are on sale separately at the same price.

New boss at Telltale Games. Hope Walking Dead and Game of Thrones are not effected.

Finished 400 Days. Didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the rest of it. Might do another playthrough of the main game with different choices, just to see what happens.

And on a side note, I look a lot like Doug in real life. We're not twins or anything, but still, quite similar. Though you wouldn't ever catch me in socks and sandals.

Some lines in there makes me almost say out loud: "...oh, Gary Whitta - that's so typical of you."

Also - playing it in sterescopic 3D. On PC, TWD (& Wolf Among Us, etc) can be played with NVIDIA's 3D Vision driver.

It gives the cartoonish 2D game art a real nice 3D depth effect. Absolutely worth trying, if you can.

    • @ThaDjinn - sadly so. For PC it's easier to just write a driver for stereoscopic 3D.

Many video games have their 3D data (w/z-buffer) available. A bit of simple math, and ALL (PC) games can profit from that. Even games, which never planned on any 3D support suddenly look amazing.

My favorite is Dark Souls 1 - especially games with dark dungeons, etc, profit immensly from 3D. And then there are games like Tomb Raider, which have been made with 'Nvidia 3D Vision' in mind, optimized for depth effects, which look stunning.
