So i bought this game last week, but i didn't have time to play with it yet. Can you tell me some advantages why is this game is so overhyped? What is the pros and the contras?

    • I watched, read reviews, saw gameplay videos, and i know i'm gonna love it. It's about what GalaxyCrusher said. I don't care about IGN - 19/11 would ride a horse again reviews and *expletive deleted*.. i am curious about YOUR opinions and feelings about this game. So just please share your feelings about the GAME. The GAME is the only think i care this time, not my irresponsible attitude of buying games. I know what i'm looking for and what i have to expect :)

    • @szogyenyi Thank you man. I hope I helped out. I don't remember enough about the game to give an appropriate answer. I wish you luck with getting the information that helps you.

I find some strange fulfillment in killing outlaws with brutal ways. For instance, lassoing(is this the right form?) an assaulter and then leaving him on the train tracks. Or making someone to fall from a cliff etc. :D

    • @RedDeadRogue I don't know. It might be, but Redemption is still new enough for them to wait, atleast one more game for. Manhunt and Bully are both teetering on the edge of oblivion, if either of them doesn't get a sequel next, they'll both likely cease entirely. Which is why I would hope they'd do Bully next, then Red Dead. Of course, they'd have to do another GTA after that. And then they'll have to revive Noire. And that's how we'll spend the next decade. Lol

Just bought Red Dead on 360 thanks to a R* sale! My biggest hope is that it's backward compatible on X1 in November since I have no 360 at the moment.

    • @REDX16385 yeah I hope so also, but to clue you in I have 100% the game 10 + times no cheats, and 100% Undead Nightmare around 5 times. Sorry that sounds like bragging but it's that awesome of a game. :)

    • @boredofmind No mate, finishing the game 100% is a great thing. The game is addictive. I always wanted to finish it 100%, I might do this in the future.

    • I grew up watching all those movies and the old Police Squad TV show. They don't make things like that anymore.

Got a story mission done, and then killed a cougar with a knife only to be killed by 2 other cougars like 3 seconds later.

    • I actually saw it or some of it in a History class in freshmen year, of all places. I think the teacher was gone that day and was just like "*expletive deleted* it, let 'em watch some Monty Python". I didn't get some of the humor, but there were some funny scenes nonetheless.

You know, at one point Bonnie accuses John of "being deliberately obscure as a substitute for having a personality."

Now, in this case I would generally say she was wrong, because John Marston is one of the best and deepest protagonists in videogame history.

However, I do think that description fits A LOT of videogame characters, as well as characters in larger fiction as well.

Aiden Pearce from Watch Dogs comes to mind.

As well as Ratonhnhak√©:ton (Connar) from Assassin's Creed 3 while I mention Ubisoft.

    Talion from Shadow of Mordor.

    Master Chief from Halo.

And so many more. What do you think? Anyone to add to the list?
