    • I agree with @Archangel470. Perfect Dark Zero was definitely a disappointment. Terrible controls, bad voice-acting and corny dialogue, an uninteresting story, and almost a complete lack of a save feature, which can prove to be highly annoying when trying to play the game on higher difficulties.

    • DMC4, it's more than a little repetitive but it's a total dream to play as Dante on it.

[+] Just beat this. I've had this game for quite a while. Years, in fact. However, I really didn't like the game all that much so it took me a while to finally beat. I kept constantly putting it off for other games. After finally completing it, I still can't say I like it very much. The voice acting is pretty bad, the dialogue is corny and some lines didn't even make sense, I noticed some typos in the subtitles, the aiming felt off, and there's almost a complete lack of a save feature. I don't think you can even manually save. The game just auto-saves after you beat the level, and there's only one checkpoint during the level. At higher difficulties, this can prove to be quite annoying. I'm glad I didn't spend too much on it back then. I really only bought it because a friend wanted me to play it with him. Ironically, we only ended up playing it once or twice the entire time that I had it. So, overall kind of a waste. Oh well. At least it's out of the way, now.

    • I'm thinking about going back to it and trying to finish it up myself. I want to at least be able to say I completed it.

Truth be told, I only got this game because of my friend. He was a big fan of it and wanted to play co-op and online multiplayer with me.

Rare needs to return to the Perfect Dark franchise.

IMO, Zero was good, it could have been better.

  • Perfect Dark Zero

I want the 1000G in this game. It's going to be long and hard, but doable.

While I'm happy that Rare have plans to bring back their classic IPs, I'm also angry at having the ideas of Kinect.

Just get rid of it Microsoft, nobody likes it.....

    • I feel ya. It's an early 360 game and put together weird. I played in Agent mode just to experience the game. It was really fun and good to see the N64 classic continue. N64 was better the better game ;)

On the last mission I noticed "Save Position" on the menu. I wondered if that's a way to save your gamestate oppose to checkpoints or what. I had already beat the game by then.

    • Yeah, I know. It was a launch title, actually, making it one of the first. The only experience I have with the first Perfect Dark was the multiplayer mode with my friend. He owned an N64, I didn't. So any N64 games I played, I played over at his house. I'm not familiar with the story for that game at all. In fact, I got Perfect Dark Zero because of my friend. He got the Xbox 360 a year before I did, and I played it at his house. Perfect Dark Zero was one of the first games he had and we played it. When I got my own console, he wanted to play it with me over Live, so I eventually bought my own copy.

Oh, I don't know about the "Save Position" thing. Don't think I ever noticed that before.
