According to the "can I run it" site, my video card isn't good enough, I have Intel (R) when 128MB Direct3D compatible video card (NVIDIA GeForce 6800+ / ATI Radeon X800+) is the recommended. My question to you PC gamers is can I still play it? All my other specs are good to run it.

I felt like playing Skyrim, but it was 9"37 when I got on, so I decided to play a less immersive game, with shorter loading screens.

    • Morrowind was cool but took too long to get to a point where you were halfway decent against even lowly rats in battle.....otherwise yeah Morrowind was awesome....

    • It seems everyone who's played Morrowind fanboys about it. But when I look at screenshots, the game looks as ugly as crap! However, I love Skyrim, awesome game. And I did end up pulling an all nighter on my laptop because I couldn't get to sleep. And I hate how Bethesda suddenly just decided to give up after the legendary patch, even though there's still a buttload of work to be done for the game.

Wait, I'm a vampire?! When did that happen?! Doesn't the game give you plenty of hints warning that you're turning? I didn't get any of them :/

    • I knew someone that rage quit Oblivion because he didn't notice he became infected with vampirism. I guess it's hard to notice if you don't know how to look.

Just a curiosity, who do you choose to murder in order to be visited by the Dark Brotherhood? I personally chose Hillod the Outlaw, who lives in the Abandoned Shack in the Imperial Waterfront District.

    • @MJ12_Conspiracy yeah thats true. One of my favorite Brotherhood missions in Skyrim was when i went to poison or kill the the King of Solitude (i think thats who it was lol). Anyway it was a trick because they had me kill a imposter and i almost got captured by the real king's guards. Then i get back to the Brotherhood hideout only to find all my fellow brothers and sisters who serve The Night Mother dead and the hideout completely destroyed because one of our members betrayed us all. Sorry for the SPOILERS guys or girls but this game has been out for i think two years now. Its fun, but its technically old now.

    • Most of the time, I choose to kill the Grey Prince after helping him find his heritage. He doesn't fight back.

Decided to play this game on normal difficulty now. Seems to be challenging enough and almost the equivalent to Skyrim's legendary difficulty.

I honestly don't know how people can play this game on the hardest difficulty, at least without exploits. It's insane. It's just insane.

    • I never had this trouble with Morrowind's difficulty either though. Just Oblivion's.

    • I rarely play on hardest difficulties for any game. Most devs don't create their game with a harder setting in mind so playing at those levels could give you a false sense of how the game should actually play out. Rarely are they actually harder, but instead just health/stat pad the enemies...

So is this game's highest difficulty regarded as being more diffuclt than Skyrim's? It just took me about 15 minutes to kill a conjurer (though I am only level 1 still).

One thing that definitely makes it harder for me is Oblivion's 'psychic enemies' - I'll calm an enemy down, run away from then, and without fail they will always know where I am after the illusion wears off.

    • When I played that on the hardest difficulty i just joined the mages guild straight away & sat in a basement casting illusion magic until i was able to enchant a set of armor with 100% chameleon. After that everybody just ran around looking for me as i spammed arrows at them from three feet away.

    • I remember my playthroughs years ago where I'd use 100% chameleon :P I had Frostcrag Spire too so it was a lot easier getting access to a spellmaking altar as well.

I'm aiming for a more challenging playthrough now though, and I'm definitely getting it.

Starting a new playthrough on the highest difficulty setting - these rats are tearing me to pieces! God knows how I'm going to get past the golbins!
