I heard a rumour that you're an idiot. Any truth to that?

I want matches that are hard enough to keep me on my toes but not too hard that it becomes almost impossible to beat them.

[+] I just can't get over how hard the enemies are to kill on the hardest difficulty. I thought it was just a matter of 'fire more spells and they'll die'. Came across a conjurer when I was level 2 outside Vilverin and it just couldn't kill him. I wasted my poisons, potions and magicka supply and he just heals himself fully and comes at me again. Then a wild wolf teams up with him and I have to leg it to the Imperial City -_-

    • My only problem is that I can't download a realistic weapon weighting mjod for some stupid reason, so I'll have to try and make my own. Because the weighting scheme of this game's weapons is pretty daft.

    • Yeah, it makes stuff pretty op.

Just need to be careful where you go I guess.

[+] Looking for advice on a 'hardest difficulty' build:

First of all, I'd rather avoid anything like 100% protection/resistance/chameleon cheesing.

I'm thinking of playing as a Breton mage/archer character. My main concern is picking skills that will allow me to level up at a comfortable level, for this reason I'm avoiding skills like conjuration and alchemy, which will make my character level up very quickly to my disadvantage.

The skills I had in mind were:

Block - to use in conjunction with spells. I want to avoid getting hit whenever possible so it won't level up that quickly. But the boost to 25 will aid a little in surviving.

Destruction + Restoration - these magic schools level the slowest and again the boost will help me.

Light Armour - same reason as block. (I thought about Heavy Armour for the extra protection, but a high light armour will benefit me more in the long run I think).

Marksman - Using mostly for stealth snipes, not for engaged combat.

Mercantile - more money, and levels very slowly.

Sneak - I want to avoid combat where possible basically.

Any changes/improvements people can think of?

    Also, a birthsign?

If I remember correctly though, hardest difficulty on this game is absolutely brutal. At least until you get into the later parts of the game with enchanted gear and awesome spells and stealth.

    • My normal tactic for this game was to pick skills that level quickly, like security and speechcraft. But for this playthrough I'm picking ones that'll level up more slowly and will increase my attack/defense as I level up, like Destruction, Restoration and Marksman. Hopefully, this'll help me a bit.

I've just left the sewers and killed a few bandits and a conjurer (using a lot of standing-on-tall-rocks-so-they-can't-reach-me tactics :P) Never have I been so terrified to see another rat -_-

So who remembers Oblivion? Feels like ever since Skyrim came the game faded out of existence. http://youtu.be/cCxjP0SON2I
