    Can't find this badboy, damnit.

This, imho, is somewhat a FF Crystal Chronicles of the future, and I want it back.

    • You should go back and finish this one. It opens up vastly in Act 2.

I am upset that Nier is not on the PSN store. They might as well put it on there to hype people for the next installment. Make a PC port too.

    • i was very lucky and never sworn for 8 hours straight in 3 different languages before lol.

Luckiest parts that i remember were - Bus depot - you are ambushed in a bus garage and i was so nervous that i ran out of bullets completely in both weapons. I was jumping and rolling and doing bullet-times for split seconds just to get my bearings quickly. Actually managed to collected just enough bullets off the ground from lying weapons to get out of there alive.

BIGGEST lucky moment was right at the end with the final boss. I was in bullet time when the last soldier died and the cut scene started of max running up those stairs towards the boss. As soon as the cut scene switched to me (in order to blow up his grenade) - my aim was facing the left wall and i was sure it was game over for me. I was playing around with the stick until i finally had it on the grenade. Hands were shaking after that one :O

The weapon Beastcurse is situated in the junk heap before the boss P-33 fight. I couldnt find it in any of the boxes. Went back after the boss and its still not there. Maybe im missing something?

[+] Platinum #93 This game right here was Cavia's last and final game, creators of the Drakengard Series. However I couldn't help but find myself this game was a bit too underrated, the story of this game on the first part was a bit mediocre and boring but the second part of the story really kicks in with the story with all the emotions tied down to it. Cavia did a great job on shoeing and telling the story of a father fighting to save his daughter from the shades.

The characters Emil and Kaine also added some decent back story to the game as well, making it feel less depressing with their light hearted jokes from Emil and Kaine's foul mouthed swearing with good voice work from Laura Bailey. (who I think is amazing <3) And Naruto's Liam O' Brien is also brilliant on changing his voice :)

Trophies and gameplay was pretty solid for a JRPG, getting the 36 Trophies out of 42 was easy but the rest is pretty much grinding. The only complaint I have about this game was the lack of difficulty and repetitive combat. Even when you hit Level 35, choose the right words for your magic and upgrades for your sword etc and you'll be pretty overpowered :/ Grinding took me a total of 36 hours, doing these late nights was hard but made things go quicker as well.

The one best thing about this game is the soundtrack and god was it amazing. It's the best I've ever heard to a JRPG next to the Persona series :D So many heart filled tracks which really capture the players emotion in particular scene throughout.

The 4 Endings in the game offer re playability for players looking for completion and to continue on the story, but the fact is all 4 endings are quite sad :/ The story about these characters is that there's simply no hope for any of them if you do your research on the Internet.

Overall 7.5/10. Onto finish Jak 3 on Vita, as I just finished grinding out all those 600 Orbs via glitch xD

    • Most sidequests on the 2nd half are progress related, if I recall correctly. You should check on them after any major progress you did.

    • there is a mention of a side-quest in part 2 for a treasure map and a labyrinth if im not mistaken. The reward for this is a weapon (which is probably missable if u dont do this side quest?) - anyway in part 2 of the game the blacksmith of the village mentions the map which triggers the side-quest. But whenever I go to him he has no bubble speech and when talking to him he just talks about some crap thats not interesting.

Wondering if i should inch further in the story abit to see if that helps trigger his start of the weapon quest or maybe I have to finish a number of side-quests before his opens up? dunno

Ive been farming alot of raw materials too to have at least a base for the upgrading part of weapons (most rare drops are done by now).
