A standalone expansion for Mount and Blade: Warband that has the same style of RPG, medieval combat, and overworld map exploration found in the previous 2 games. However, It doesn't take place in the fictional kingdom of Calradia, instead it's set in Central Europe in 17th century . in historically accurate kingdoms like the Crimean Khanate, the Polish Republic, and the Tsardom of Moscow. With these factions come 3 possible story arcs, something that is new to the series.
As you become more powerful, more options will open up and the game moves from simple trading and bandit fighting to political intrigue and epic battles. Will you fight as a steppe warrior? Become wealthy as a scheming trader? Or will you rule as a benevolent lord, administering to your vast kingdom and leading a army of your own creation to victory?
The Kingdom of Sweden are so indecisive - the only expansion made so far has been solely down to me picking off freshly conquered towns; even with that, we've shrank.
I never had this issue with King Ragnar...
I was severely disappointed with this game; it could have been better. Right now, it's better than the original, but worse than Warbrand.
