So, since you use the Hammerhead when you go down to the planet in Project Overlord... what happens if you haven't retrieved the Hammerhead yet?

    • Not all rovers are, in ME3 they refer to a couple others called the Grisly and the Rhino but gods knows what they look like....

probably the same vehicle as Mako but the naming just denotes mission role....

Mako is all purpose combat rover and APC

Hammerhead is a light fast attack tactical assault vehicle....

Grisly i assume is their dedicated tank....

Rhino could be a heavy charger or howitzer....

the naming of their ships always denoted size and role, Frigates are warzones cus they make up the backbone

Dreadnaughts are mountains for the size and firepower

Carriers are cities cus literally a carrier is a city, carriers even by today's standards are floating military bases meant to deliver fighters, interceptors, bombers and multirole aircraft to the battle.....

meh....okay trivia aside....just the role light assault vehicle....doesn't fit my playstyle when in a vehicle....I wanna plow through your defenses and yell some badass Schwarzenegger type one liner as I leave....

[+] One issue with some of the side quests... they don't always feel necessary? Lol. I followed one that was to investigate a space station, so I docked at Jirrahe space station, and as soon as I stepped on my mission objective popped up as 'escape Jirrahe Station' lol. So I'm just like... why did I even show up?

    • Usually you're supposed to access the shipping manifest from the downed freighter...

do the downed freighter mission first, that gives you the station, from the station the manifest gives you the factory then you blow the factory....to stop the flood of infected mechs....

I forget the freighter name but after you shut down the distress beacon you're attacked by mechs as a storm sweeps in.....

One thing I don't get about all the mech you fight: why in the world do they explode if shot in the head? It seems like a MAJOR design flaw that would effect marketing lol...

    • @Quicksaver007 they meant realistically speaking......why realistically wuld a mech blow up when shot in the head?? even if it was a criminal shooting that's a major safety violation.....

    • @StratRat1956 Yeah, what MJ said. I meant in-universe speaking, it would be a major design flaw. I mean, imagine the sales pitch; "Oh yeah, they're loyal, deadly, perfect to take into a fight with you. Just, uhhh... don't stand too close just in case they get shot in the head, explode, and take you out with them."

I mean, I understand it's a specific mechanic of the game; shoot that particular enemy in a specific way, and be rewarded with the potential to take out nearby enemies as well. But those sort of in-game mechanics only work so well when it isn't considered along with the game's world, instead it can cause the setting to become disjointed and kill some sense of immersion.

I mean, not completely of course. I still love Mass Effect to death, and overall it has one of the best sci-fi universes to date.

@MJ12_Conspiracy lol yeah though, I think Shepard & Co. just managed to put the entire company out of business after the events of ME2. Just like the Collectors (who I expected to make some return in 3), but atleast they are generally understandable.

    • Downside to Genesis, only six choices are carried over, instead of the maximum from a imported ME1 save to ME2

    • Good old Sony and their proprietary tech. Why else do you think they went with a more mainstream operating system with the PS4? The Cell processor may have been more powerful, but it was notoriously difficult to develop for. It's why most third party games were so much better on the 360.

    • It's very easy to do. Just get the three 'needed' upgrades for the Normandy, complete all loyalty missions AND select the right person for the job at the end. Simple.

    • It's not very difficult at all. If you're in any way a completionist like myself, the solution will come fairly easy. I did it the first time around without even knowing any of my crew could die.
