    Platinum trophy # 67 overall (of 67) and # 49 on PS3.

    [+] Platinum trophy # 67 overall (of 67) and # 49 on PS3.

    100% game completion # 93 overall (of 93) and # 61 on PS3.

Since I never really cared about trophies back when I first played this game, I needed to do some ‘clean up’ here. Already got the Platinum trophy on infamous 2 and infamous: Second Son (and 100% in Carnival of Blood), so this one was really missing. This also makes this title the game with the biggest gap between the first and the last trophy: 2.008 days, 4 hours, 24 minutes (First Trophy: 16.08.2009, 13:14 and Last Trophy: 14.02.2015, 17:38).

It was cool getting back to a game again after such a long time. Good thing the PS3 saves all savegames, these must even have been copied over from my first ‘big’ PS3 that died back then. Playing on evil was cool and the hard mode was fair and okay most of the time. Had some trouble at the final boss fight, but I managed it, right?

It’s really a great idea to have an open world to roam around using super powers. Gliding on the electric wires is such a classic! Love it! Also for such an old game the graphics are not that bad, I really like the style and architecture used in the different parts of the city. Controls sometimes were not all that great, but you can get used to it. Anyway, to me this is one of the really big classic games for the PS3 and I am glad I was able to honor it by playing it up to Platinum!

    • Guess I'll go for something more casual for now; maybe the Lego Movie Game :) And maybe Infamous: First Light after that :) Also had a look into Sounds Shapes, that actually is quite cool so I admit I only bought it because of the triple syn trophies ;)

    • First Light is neat, I'm sure you'll like if it you liked all the others. It's not much more difficult than Second Son, though the arenas give some people trouble.

    • I wasn't a big fan of that girl, Fetch?, in the Second Son game. But I am really looking forward it Too funny, a while ago I saw a girl downtown my city who looked exactly like her. Purple hair, the clothing - I was almost asking her, if she is doing this on purpose. :)

It's funny, when I play a new game today, I think: wow, it looks so good! But when I am getting back to older games, I mostly think: well, it didn't look that bad at all!

What I try to say is, the difference in graphic quality to me seems bigger looked out from a new game than from an older game. Does this make any sense to anyone out there? :O

    • I still have the maps of all the shards somewhere that I printed out over 5 years ago when I played this game. It wasn't the most sophisticated method, but I got it done lol. I still think I had to consult a video/image guide for a couple of the shards, though.

    • I've used the guide to find most of the shards, I guess I failed to find all of the shards even with the guide. Maybe one day I'll have a look around the city.

    • Those dark districts in the first game are pretty brutal. Basically gotta avoid enemies until you get to where you need to be.

Is it possible to do all the side missions or do they just keep going?

    • When you complete the side missions, the area will be secure, and no more side missions will show up in that secured area. It's not like if you leave them unsecured, more side missions will appear - there's a finite number of side missions. There are trophies given for securing each of the islands, so there's that, also completing those side missions gives you more points (I forget what they're called in this game) to unlock new abilities. Finally those side missions are how you up your good/bad Karma. You get more abilities by sticking to either doing good or bad through all those side missions.

    • Not every side mission is playable from the get-go. You have to progress in the story to unlock them.
