I do believe it's high time I finally finished this and Fallout 2.

    • I was actually going to finish them because I've had them on my backlog for almost two years, and the last time I played either was months ago. Fallout 4 being announced is like a secondary reason at best :P

    • When I find a new game I like, I try to go back and at least give the old ones a try, because who knows, I may have been missing out on some really fun games. Fallout 1 and 2 weren't to my liking though. I gave each a couple hours before dropping them, despite how much I love 3 and New Vegas.

I cleared out the Radscorpions single handed, and the Raiders (Khans) with the help of Ian (who hasn't died yet; I've not died once either) and I'm almost through Vault 15 in considerably less time than my last try, and I'll be on my way to Junktown in no time.

    • reccomend a better RAM and PSU?

I will probably get a gtx 780 but idk what RAM or PSU I should really go with, yeah I'd like to make videos at one point but if you really need big RAM for editing, ehhh.

    • @BunBunPowah RAM is used for a ton of things...but in the near future games will reguire more ram.

CPU really only matters for applications and how many cores they require.

i3 and i5 are good for gaming. So far i7 is not the best for gaming because games do not take advantage of them yet.

i have corsair vengeance RAM 8gb.

PSU. anything with a good refutable brand. I trust corsair. anything above 80+ bronze is good. Modular is the best. and try to have like 100 or 200 watts above what it says your system wattage is.

for a case, pick something with good cable management.

for a graphics card, a gtx 770, 780, 780 ti, 680, 690 are the best Nvidia options. AMD are also good but I prefer nvidia. those cards are the best. TITAN is also good, but is about on par with the 780 and costs a *expletive deleted* ton.

if you can get an SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 240 GB. I would go for an i5 3570k, but thats just me.

AND if you plan to overclock, get an aftermarket cooler. Go with watercooling if you want. H80i or H100i are the best. if you go with air cooling, get whatever ones your case supports and get a good aftermarket CPU cooler: noctua ones are the best I hear.

also with brands: they matter. dont get a cheaper product with no brand name. most brands that are good have good warranties and last a long time, and are efficient.

These are the ones I trust:

      Graphics Cards: MSI and ASUS

      Motherboards: MSI and ASUS

SSD and HDD: Samsung and Western Digital

Case: Fractal Design (cases are a matter of opinion mostly)

      PSU: Corsair

      RAM: Corsair

      CPU: Intel GPU: Nvidia

      Coolers: Corsair

Just beat this game! takes a little figuring out to get around but well worth it if you love Fallout 3 or NV. Was awesome to see how things were formed that echo through both of those games.

Helpful tip when playing this game: when you see a deathclaw, run. Always run. Don't ask why, just do it.

    That is all.
