I'm still wondering about that. Personally, I thought New Vegas was better, still do. There's more to do, it's less linear, there's more faction choice, there's more of an impact overall, the DLCs are far better, and it was more refined than 3. I will say 3 having Liam Neeson and the whole intro sequence added something special (lol) to the game. Also, whether you keep a certain little town on the map or not was interesting. After that, navigating tin 3 became kind of a pain. I liked the openness in NV. Plus there was added difficulty in the Hardcore mode, and that's how I played the first time through. It was actually way fun. Hoping for a lot from Fallout 4 now.
