In my search for the cheapest PS3 near me that didn't include any games I already had, I'm getting a bundle that includes the Super Slim, this game, and the PlayStation Move. $300. Good deal?

Perhaps I should try to beat the first game before that though XD

[+] Today I decided to give the PS3 Disney's Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two demo a try, with midly fair hopes to boot

After clearing it, these are my main findings, which I somehow was able to get even before playing throught the whole deal:

    - The camera is rather sloppy. If you aren't using the move controller, basically the camera controls follow the main direction you want to point your brush at. It's very hard to describe, but if you need to move the cursor on long distances (as to say, change camera angles fast), you need to slowly and steadly bring the angle till you are satisfyed. This is a major gameplay issue, given you will nearly always find yourself in need of spraying thin or paint all over the place to advance, get goodies or defeat enemies

    - While I do belive Epic Mickey 2 is a great co-op game, the Maker help you if you will face the game as a single player. Oswald got some severe issues: he follows you erraticly (when he DOES), keeps spamming the same advice over and over again, doesn't respond in time, ... An honorable mention goes to the plane mechanic: basically, you order Oswald to jump, then Mickey grabs him and the rabbit plane to the distant location. The fact is making Mickey to GRAB his partner is PAINFUL, let alone Oswald decreasing in height far too much fast

    - One could wonder why they didn't come up with a single button to interact with items or characters. The X button is mainly used for jumping, but, near certain items, you have either to press it VERY FAST or hold it steadly. This is a source of some confusion more than once: you may spend two minutes or so jumping at a character you are instead supposed to talk to

Given the above, I will consider getting Disney's Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two only when it will drop in price. I think it deserves something in artistic value

    • I was going to be getting this on day 1. But i'm switching to Lego LOTR and waiting for Epic Mickey 2 to reduce in price as well.

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two has already been met with average reviews

I'm currently waiting for Warren Spector to state how stupid we are not to enjoy another game of his

    • Oh no, the problem isn't the art direction. It's the execution. Given this game is centered around co-op, the other character's AI is rather unresponsitive.

    • yeah, I just read GameInformer's take on it. I suppose I'll have to enlist some help!

Been playing some very serious, time consuming games recently, and having something a little lighter and less imposing is going to be a nice interlude to the likes of 'Aliens:Colonial Marines', 'Bioshock:Infinite' and 'The Last of Us' in 2013
