You play Adam Jensen, a security specialist, handpicked to oversee the defense of one of America's most experimental biotechnology firms. But when a black ops team breaks in and kills the scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes. At a time when scientific advancements are routinely turning athletes, soldiers and spies into super-enhanced beings, someone is working very hard to ensure mankind's evolution follows a particular path. You need to discover why - because the decisions you take and the choices you make will be the only things that can determine mankind's future.

Game buzz for Deus Ex: Human Revolution

I haven't played much of this, so I can't tell whether or not this is a masterpiece.

BUT, this game has one of the best main themes in video games. EVER.

    • A great game - it's just a shame that Invisible War was so bad. :/

    • ^Invisible War wasn't that bad....they just clearly targeted XBOX over PC.......

game world was detailed, many of the missions were interesting, the connections to the first game were interesting.....it's only real failing was that it went with more action over stealth......however....

I found ways to be stealthy.....

I think people's other issue with IW was not being able to play as JC again.....it made sense why you couldn't, he was basically all powerful...he had his original abilities and was tapped into everything and had a super AI that merged with him.....Helios overtook the Deadelous AI which made Helios more powerful and when JC merged it made both even more powerful so playing as a god would have been boring, it would have made it a kill everything fest besides by that time the new world powers all wanted JC dead......game could have been far worse......and I've seen worse honestly....

Got this for 2 dollars today. Already played it on 360, but I'm going to give it a go on the PS3 now.

    Time to catch up.

I so wish this game were moddable. Because it has debilitating lag on my laptop, and because Adam Jensen would make such an excellent cyborg Batman.

    • There are mods, but just simple inventory mods, asaik. Have you even tried some research?

    • Yes, and I only saw graphics mods, filter removers, and I might have seen a couple of cheats.

The story was also pretty good and i chose the alternate ending

    • I was somewhat disappointed with the "multiple endings" just being "pick one of 4 buttons", but all in all a great game non the less.

    • yup im with ya, i thought your actions took U to different endings. Not press this and u'll see the future kind of thing. But Generally the game was ablast. Secondary missions let U improve your Character as much as U wish! Never got the X ray EYES tho. LOL

    • 8/10 mate. I did really enjoy it and I may have liked it even more if I wasn't focused on a guide so I didn't miss anything. I really didn't want to have to do another 20-30 hour playthrough. Overall pretty damn good though. Really liked Adam Jensen and the story / style overall was cool and interesting. I especially liked how many different paths there were to complete objectives. I just have to finish up the DLC now

    • For me it's a 9/10 and i dunno it was a easy plat and loved the stealth in it.The missable trophies are not so missable except for that book one and u just have to look on the guide once for each missable , like i said it wasnt annoying at all.I wishh more games had a trophy list like this.Dlc is oki
