Emphasis on the unbridled, because I really hated the stupid time limit in the previous games. Also, strangely enough (not really), other than some odd performance issues in dialog cutscenes, the game runs smooth like butta maxed out. I've never seen so many zombies. It brings a tear to my eye.

    • Well all that means is you're looking at stuff from a big picture standpoint, trying to figure out the extent of the forest, and anything that might be beyond said forest. I find myself doing that a lot. Most people...do not try to look past a single tree at a time, to put it bluntly. In big picture topics such as philosophy or theoretical physics or what have you, even historical topics, there are countless ideas from countless people.

This is perfectly fine, as the more people you have trying to figure things out, the more things actually come to be seen for what they really are. This is how science used to commonly work, in fact, before they came up with their own dogmatic way of doing things. Now it is a rarity to have a scientist not just harping the prevailing theory about whatever, though there are still exceptions such as quantum theory, where the more they experiment, the more it becomes obvious that the so called rules of physics do not apply there.

    • That's one way to look at it.

Thought we need the thoughtful and insightful people who manages to come up with theories, philosophies, hypothesis etc.

Like they say 'two sides to every coin', I guess.

I envy the insightful and analytical individuals for coming up with something conclusive.

All I seem to be drawing up are general overviews and presumptions with nary a structure.

For one, I'm good at sharing, but not debating.

Is it still that bad performance-wise just like all the reviews I read on STEAM?

Sounds like a nightmare to play on PC, yet I do prefer gaming on the pc.

Currently considering the X-Box One version (In the very distant future) if I ever get a chance to get a console.

    • The console one is a bit iffy. I own it and it gives me a huge headache playing. The DOF on it is crazy. The camera is basically right behind the character and it gets me dizzy trying to look around him.

15 hours later and the story is completed. I still need to finish the other game modes though.

    • For some reason, I couldn't ever play any of these games for longer than an hour. I don't know what it is. The concept of making your own weapons is cool and I love it, but playing these games always felt like too much of a chore to me, so I dropped each of them almost instantly. I even picked them up more than once on different systems. I guess it's just not my cup of tea lol.

This is much more user friendly than the first game. The aiming is horrendous though.

  • Dead Rising 3: Apocalypse Edition

Once I changed the ini file so that this isn't capped at 30fps, I'm having a lot more fun with this.

    • Could be down to how they coded certain gameplay mechanics to function around the framerate, if it is then I could see why Vsync helps that.

    • Well now that I've turned Vsync on, I get a nice 60fps with no drops - even with lots of action on screen :D Just wish I could turn off that auto-lock on aim assist.

    • im not sure if i reach 60fps, but since i added that file it looks even better, then with just 30fps.

    • I prefer locking it to 30 - for me, there is way too much frame rate fluctuation when I unlock it, and it just makes the game look really laggy for me.

30fps is more stable - I notice it at first, as I'm used to 60+, but I adjust.
