What do you think Jimmy Hopkins went on to do in life?

    Prison inmate?

    Male stripper?

    Grand Theft Auto Protagonist?

    • That would make a pretty cool GTA game, or even just a dlc expansion sort of thing like Ballad of Gay Tony or the Lost and the Damned from GTA IV.

You play as a grown Jimmy Hopkins, now a full-fledged criminal. He'd be a bit bigger, buffer, but still pretty short. Russel would still be his partner in crime, while rich kids like Darby Harington could be 'bosses'. You'd meet each of the major characters from Bully at some point... Johnny Vincent is running some biker gang now, while Tad is some washed-up hobo wishing for his old glory days. Earnest is running for political office, but is rather corrupt and wants Jimmy to do his dirty work for him. Petey is some social worker or lawyer who helps get Jimmy out of trouble with the cops. And it would all build up to another climatic showdown with Gary Smith, who has turned part criminal mastermind and part serial killer.

I always thought the use of preps/greasers was weirdly retro. Made the song kind of confusing. Rich Kids are a good idea, but the preps had a whole weird British thing going that was confusing. Greasers were odd for the time setting.

IF they were to do a new game, I think new cliques would be appropriate. I mean, the sort of have to have the nerds and Jocks, but besides that I think it could use an update.

I want to see more classes, awesome bikes and races, and a lot of inner-clique warfare.

    • Nice. Makes me want to replay Bully again. Wish they did have a sequel. Maybe a college campus or something.

    • Bought this a while ago when it was on sale for 3 or 4 bucks. Not a bad game, but really not great either. I'm glad I took advantage of that sale and didn't pay any more than what I did.

[+] Beat the game. Overall, not bad! I rather enjoyed it. For 4 bucks, it was definitely well-worth it. I'm glad I didn't get it straight off the bat, though. While I did like it, it wasn't a 50 or 60 dollar game in my opinion. It does have some flaws. The controls were a bit awkward. Sometimes I wouldn't be able to target the right person when fighting, controlling the skateboard was a bit of a nightmare, (specifically when trying to turn) and the camera would sometimes get stuck for me. I would have to move it around a bit to get it to focus back on Jimmy. Other things I didn't like were the lack of checkpoints, (when you failed a mission you had to start completely over) bullies and prefects could chase after you during a mission and potentially cause you to fail it (I couldn't tell you how many times I was close to beating a mission but failed it because a prefect busted me) and the classes being a bit too annoying and slightly difficult. I still haven't passed all of them. Other than that, though, a pretty fun and entertaining game that was worth the cheap price.

I've heard rumors of a sequel. To be honest, it could go either way with me for a Bully 2. If a sequel never happens, I wouldn't be sad. But if one does, I'm interested and will keep my eye out for it.

Oh man, I might like this game but it does remind me of how much I hate games that don't have an auto-save feature...stupid f*cking game got stuck and I lost an entire hour of progress...
