I really like Clannad, but I have one major beef with this game: getting to a specific route is too damn complicated!
I shall explain: If you just play the game casually, being social and interacting with all the characters, the game will force you onto the Nagisa route. You don't have a choise. Ok then, maybe if I want on a specific route, I'll just ignore everyone else and focus on the character whose route I want to play, right? Wrong! Even if you do that, you will only get so far. To get on, for example, the Tomoyo route, there will be a scene where you will trigger an essential flag ONLY if you got the first Nagisa flag waaaay back in the beginning. But beware, if you go and be nice to Nagisa more than just than one time and end up triggering a second Nagisa flag, you're forced onto the Nagisa route again.
I mean, yea, Nagisa is actually the real "main love interest" in the story, but since the game gives me the option of following alternate story lines, Shouldn't the choise be easy to make? Why do I need to check a walkthrough to see which non-Tomoyo flags I will need to follow the Tomoyo route? That's just annoying. But yea, even so, I still like this game.
So, it's finally here. Destiny. And I'm absolutely broke.
Solution: I traded in 20 old games at GameStop. These included CoD. Modern Warfare 1-3, The Darkness 1-2, Mass Effect 1-2, Dead Rising 2, Command n Conquer 3 and a whole bunch of PSP games.
Sometimes you just have to make sacrifices, you know.
Initial impressions: It's a bit like GTA, except you're a cop, you're in China, and instead of shooting you destroy people with kung fu. Quite refreshing, actually. The driving mechanics for motorcycles suck big time though.
