Revisiting games you once wrote off
This has happened to me twice with PS3 games. It's something I never experienced on previous generation consoles, I start playing a game and don't get into it immediately but then revisit it several weeks/months later and love it.
Bioshock was the first game, Killzone 2 the second. Great, great games, but I guess I didn't give them enough time to get under my skin in the way that previous games did. Maybe my patience is running thinner as I get older or maybe today's games are much more extravagant and similar to blockbuster films which I don't have a great capacity for either.
Or maybe it's a combination of both. Whatever the reason, I'll definitely be giving my next purchases a bit more time to endear themselves to me; I'd be gutted if I'd have missed out on the Killzone 2 experience completely.
just finished Heavy Rain..so sweet! might have to swap games back soon, im in the mood for batman!

How well we played last season, it's unfathomable to understand how poor we have been this season. I'm not convinced that Alonso is the whole problem but boy do we miss some creative flair and someone who can find that killer pass. I was watching the game against Stoke on Sky and seeing how dogged we had to be to try and get a result. That is surely not how Liverpool Football Club should be. Being dogged is important though when you're in a bad rut of form and low in confidence. We have to play like that to get out of it. However, if we beat Spurs tomorrow we're second in the Premiership form table, so we need to keep this mini revival going - then we can start playing well and go on a 20 run unbeaten streak before winning the title on the last day of the season... 1 month ago
