Cena having more fans doesn't mean he has the most talent but i guess your right though, he is doing the best job "entertaining" people,

IMO Best Quality Wrestlers are

The Undertaker, The Rock, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Steve Austin, Bret Hart & then John Cena as you can see im not a fan of Hulk Hogan but i can see why people like him. gosh darn...Bobby Lashley could've been on that list but he quit early.

The great khali is the best! Come on have you seen that guy fight. He deserves alot aswell considering hes the only reason his country have something to smile about.

Khali is better than most give him credit for. He helps out thew WWE a lot by being a spectacle and a big draw on their india tours.

So when does evreyone think undertaker will lose at wrestlemania? He has to lose eventually, otherwise the greatness of the streak will just die off and evreyone will be like yer undertakers won once again.

Yeah I have to admit when he came into WWE a couple of years ago I thought he will be like all the other new crap but I was quite excited by his talent and was sad to see him leave

The Undertaker was my favourite wrestler when I watched wrestling. I thought he was so cool when he came into the ring riding his chopper with 'Rollin' as his theme tune back in his American Bad Ass era.

Why is John Cena 'trying to be black'?  I am Australian so my culture is a little different, but I still think my opinion on this is valid.
Is there a patent/ownership on clothes and attitude thesedays?  Am I not allowed to listen to Rap/Hip Hop because I am white? Would I be considered to be 'trying to be black' if I listened to that music and wore certain clothes?

Cena, in his early gimmick was really like Vanilla Ice was - a massive joke and parody of the typical white person trying to 'be black' (with the irony being Vanilla Ice was serious :P) but his gimmick now as I see it is more 'white' than it is 'black' if you know what I mean?
He's not out throwing around bad rhymes all the time, arms waving everywhere trying to look Gangster - hes just John Cena, a white guy with an attitude as far as I am concerned.

I dont know... it sounds a bit like reverse racism to me.

Hogan was what Cena is now - in the fact that they are both great entertainers, and although possibly not the best performers in terms of wrestling ability (although Cena has always been marketed as a brawler rather than a pure all out wrestler) they are really good at what they set out to do - and that is to make the WWE fans react to them, good or bad.

To the person that quoted my post and replied about Kane - if he is declining title shots then although while I dont understand why, I can respect that and in a way really makes me admire him more.
It's like I saw on TNA the other week - the Dudley's saying that they don't care about singles competition, about the singles championships etc... they are there to entertain as a team because thats how they work best and they accept it.

I did used to like the dudleys as well, they were quality lol

WWE is getting ruined, people like Cena and Undertaker are becoming cliche'd and this is making it boring, Cena is only given title shots because he sells music not because of his wrestling ability. Basically WWE are determined to boost Cena's popularity more because he is masssive in US and makes loads of merchandise sales however over here in UK and Europe he isn't massive, last live event I went to he was booed because he was boring and predictable.

Actually he is booed nearly everywhere but they have started placing mics in the audience and turn the cheers up >_>

They use this method to turn down the 'Holy *poop*' chants that happen sometimes because they are going for a more family friendly crowd... or at least a lot younger, which is where a lot of Cena's fans are.

hummm.. i feel a visous circle accuring. people are just saying who there favorate wrestler is. no one can change that. personaly jeff hardy to me is one of the best wrestlers to come out o the universe in the last 15 years. but i dont thnk he makes a good heavy weight champ. back in the day of dudley e+c hardys. we got some of the best tag team matches ever. never the main event but soild memrable matches. on the other han some of the biggest hyped main events have been terrable. everyone in the wwe has tallent. Randy Ortan is one of the best today cause my goodness i want to smack his irregular smerk of his face everytime i see him, cause hes a realy good heel. HHH never been a big fan but i respect that he works a good match. without him jeff hardy wouldn't have been taken seriously as a contender for the strap. the legends in their day were grate and most still are awsome now. but you cant propperly compare them to today stars cause training is different, the marshal artsused are different. Caparea (morrison) is a beautiful fighting styleand would have made bret hart work his ass off trying to fight. a young hbk vs matt hardy would have been an amazing match but we aint gonna see it. soooo i guess my point is this argument can't be won.

No, I am smarter than you when it comes to wrestling, trust me. Sales, Ratings and Merchanidse DO mean a lot for wrestling, because that's why wrestlers are hired, to make money. The bottom line in wrestling is to make money. There is no other goal. Right now, Cena makes the most money for the company, thus, making him the best wrestler, because he does his job the best, the job he was hired for.

John Cena, Batista, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy...THESE are good wrestlers. They draw, move merchandise, and bring in the ratings.

Making Money doesnt equal Skill/Talent

QUANTITY < QUALITY

It does in wrestling. Cena has all the tools he needs to be an incredible wrestler, and right now, he is the best. Cena has all the atalent he needs.He's great on the mic, has plenty of charisma, and is a great spokesperson for th company. He works his style to perfection, and has brought in the $$$, and that's what a good wrestler does.
