In bomber mode? you have to save them until you actually NEED them and when you see the space ship with the 2 bombs on it use a bomb and you pick up the two and keep going like that

Easiest way is to check out some of the helpful video's on youtube that will help you get a strategy. When I got this after many hours of trying, I saw it helpful to follow behind the first bomber till the second one shows and is close to the first bomber, use one bomb and get those 4 bombs back, then use fluid movement till the next ship. It all comes down to luck in the end. This was the hardest trophy to get, and should of been gold.

I got this but I devised a strategy that has a lot more success than just following the bomb cart. Since you can't shoot the asteroids you're helpless right? Not exactly. From where you spawn, the asteroids will hit the planet and come straight for you! Well, on the opposite side of the spawn all of the asteroids go away from you. Let the cart push it's way through and then camp this area. You'll still have to do a ton of fancy work but just keep trying. After I figure this out it only took about 10-20 tries.

(Seriously, this needs to be a gold trophy).

just follow the ship as close as possible and wait til 2 comes and it should spawn right next to it and u can use a bomb then

I go them all. Its a realy pain in the butt. HINT: "Use the Blue barriers as Things that will BLOCK you from the exploding bombs. :-D It'll still be hard, but use your head. Use your Environment to HELP you. ;)

Also, if you keep pressing the start button when you are in a tight squeeze, you can see what is coming at you.  Takes practice though.  When I got it, I had the red mines destroy the first ship, then followed the second ship til the third one landed almost right on top of it.  I used one bomb to destory both of them and had 15.

Luring another technique you can use and is effective in bomber

I'm nearing my 200th attempt at this after a whole day yeasterday dedicated to SSHD. In betwwen enraged attempts i would sometime try for the 'endless: destroy 10 nukes' trophy but no luck there either.

I swear i saw a shield available once but i died trying to get to it. It appeared not long after the start., after the 2nd ring of rocks there falls a large asteroid, then the enamies and more rocks come then another ring of rocks. Then the second ship comes along with another large asteroid but instead to biggies rained from the skies (no ship). Then a short while later the 2nd ship appeared and i saw in the corner of the screen a purple icon. In a rather confused and ecstatic state and went for the shield realising how important it could be but i failed. But it was there i wasn't seeing things i promise. Anyone seen or had a shield on bomber before??

Yes i've had shields in bomber. I haven't got it yey, but after the 2nd ship comes down a lot of green ore comes too. I try to blow up as many of these as possible with the 2nd ship and hope i get a shield. I got one once but got excited that i'd finally done it and lost it straight away!

It's a pain...as i always get so close!!

As for surviving 7 minutes in endless...any tips on that?? I try to not destroy things in a hope that less rocks/enemies fall but they seem to be on a timer anyway. I got to 6 minutes 54 seconds last night :-(

I can't get 10 nukes either. Once i get to 7-9 about 5million ice asteroids come down and i have to use 10 bombs just to stay alive...and then it happens again a minute later?????
