If you enjoy the basis of the game and want more of a challenge, then get the solo pack. IMO, the best modes are Endless and Bomber, both in the solo pack. If you have friends or relatives that like the game then get the Multipack.  If you want the multipack just for trophies, you might as well trade instead of buy it, if you can find a trader.  I think it's worth it though.

Solo is worth it but multiplayer is only worth it if you want all the trophies

Get them all, gives the game a great boost to an already great game. Multiplayer pack is great fun.

Yes, split screen is much better for 2p IMO and the new play modes on 1p are insane.

multiplayer pack is the only way to get the second gold trophy.    do it     definitiley worth it

Get Solo, Solo makes SSHD 10 times better.

The Solo pack is without a doubt worth it, the new game modes it includes are a lot of fun.  It also provides the opportunity to get four more trophies.
The Team pack is a bit less great.  It makes playing mulitplayer a bit easier and more fun, but doesn't really offer the change that the Solo pack does.  It also provides the opportunity to get one more gold Trophy.

well i got the solo pack and not the multiplayer pack because i hve no one that wants to play with me but i'll probably get it for the trophies if u liked the game get the solo pack like they said

Solo gives you more modes, a new retro sound track with the ability to use custom tracks from your ps3. As for graphics, not entirely sure about that, but i think it did slightly improve the quality of the planets. it is def worth it just for the new modes by itself.
