I like it better without sigs, it's not cluttered like other forums. We have entire profiles, don't need sigs.

Or here's an idea, have a sig field attached to the roll-over avatar pop-up.

Put a cap on the sig. Only x amount of text, no pics. That should address size complaints

i still like it plain like this, to show off trophies/quotes/photoshop talent we have profiles. I do think its a good idea but I think that the point of the forum (talking, getting strategies/opinions) is better achieved thru what is in place now.

id love sig's as long as their small and don't dominate the threads.

I'll go with the idea that you've got a profile page so there's no need for a sigs box.

small sigs with set things you can put in em, like how many trophies you got and what your last one earned was or something and also have a text limit of 20 characters or something to keep it small.

leave the sigs out. they take valuable time to sift through. i don't want to waste my time looking at useless nonsense.

I've no objection to sigs, as long as the size is limited. As I've said before, there's nothing worse than reading through a forum full of one-line posts and massive sig images.

Have a look at the forums on MyResistance.net and you'll see exactly what I mean.

If they're introduced, I'd say limit them to 3 lines of text, or a userbar-style image 350x19 or thereabouts.

The sig that Paranoimia has is pretty good for size.
Something bigger is just annoying.

Just extend the pop-up window attached to avatars out to the right, and put a size-limited HTML field there.
