Playing online.  The amount of people using cheats is unbelievable.  Well it's not really cheats plural.  It's cheat.  People driving off the edge of things and then miraculously reappearing in front of you a second later with all their items intact.  Or when you're trying to get to the finish line and people start appearing in front of you, then disappearing, then reappearing.

IT'S DOING MY *expletive deleted* NUT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  CHEATING BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the rant, but I need to vent.  I've got to over 8100 points on WFC without anything so much as a cheat, yet the amount of people that do the above is getting on my tits.  Why not just play the game fairly?

Anyone else pissed of with it?  Any cheaters on here?

I've played this game online and I don't think there's that much skill involved in winning sometimes. Just copious amounts of luck. My friend was winning a race once only to be hit by 3 blue shells in a row coming up to the finish line and finish 3rd or something. Yet the next race I was winning and managed to get away with being hit with very little. The whole game feels as if it punishes you for being good at it (much more so than any of the others).

Your problem is you're expecting Nintendo to do something online-related and not be rubbish at it.

So how do they cheat? Surely Nintendo would put in some kind of safeguards against these kind of cheats happening?

Or, as CA36GTP says, are Nintendo simply rubbish at online stuff?

There are glitchers in every online game...get used to it ^^

@Ste:I hear you. I have seen so many ppl use that cheat that it has taken the fun out of this game for my daughter and myself. If you want a clean race with no cheats what so ever then hit me up with your Mario code and i would be more then happy to race you.

Funny thing: Wii is getting voice-chat with  the release of "Animal Crossing: City Folk".

I've got this game... haven't played online recently so I haven't experienced that but OMG that would piss me off lol

Also i got over 8200 race points on WFC. I only do race not battle!

I just got this game and manage to get my ass kicked in the absence of cheats. 

WELL, not only people cheat at wii, they cheat on all games...
