1) Planes you can fly

2) Car modification

The car modding is more annoying than the lack of planes since the geographical area in game is so small anyway. What else is 'missing' from the game?

1) a helicopter is good enough

2)yes car modification would be nice especially on the superGT

I think i heard someone say that planes arnt in the game because they travel across the map too quickly and cause problems with pop up and so on.

Everything from san andreas, a bigger map, a proper cheat system (not the phone) and better online

...a better ending.......playing the game really built up my expectations for a epic ending and it just dissapointed me.........And it had too many bugs for a game that was developed that long and with that kind of budget

Good point never thought of that... just imagine all the reconstruction people would have tried to do with the various skyscrapers. Also then the US could blame games for terrorism too...

I dont think rockstar would care about that... its possible to recreate a lot

I think the game overall is really good. A few things could have been done better though. Ex. As Apeh stated a better cheat system. How do you expect to put in health, armour, cash, ammo, ect. cheats into the phone in tight situations. (Rhetorical question)

Missed my Tank rushes, ability to buy houses ... GTA4 was a let down for me tbh

GTAIV tried to change, but it was a bad decision - STICK to semi-realism rockstar!

GTA IV had a good storyline but tanks would be cool.So would planes to fly around the city in instead of helicopters. Car modification would be amazing in this game as it was a big hit in Driver: Parallel Lines so it was disappointing for me that it didn't include any just Pay and Spray's!

1) I miss the parachute.

2) More customize options....losing/gain weight, more clothing.

It needed more things that make GTA, GTA..... like way more funny stuff. I know when you get to star junction its like parody city but its just not like to old ones. It feels like they wanted to make GTA grown up (respected is okay but mature and proper GTA will never be...and shouldnt!) when it never has been grown up. It just felt different. Plus in making the game more grown up and serious they took out a lot of the fun absurd things like pimping missions, ice cream/pizza deliveries, RC missions, parachutes, etc and they even took the bread and butter side jobs in their classic sense like vigilante, ambulance, firetruck, ect.

Look for a game called Just Cause. It had GTA mechanics, but you could fly helicopters, drive cars, parachute. Really good game. Just Cause 2 is coming out soon, you should look for it.

Planes would have been nice but the fact is that they move to fast across the map causing problems with the game e.g. slows down the game

Whoever said 'expect to put cheats into the phone in tight situations', there's no need to enter it...the cheat system has improved because once you've used a cheat it automatically stores in the phone so you can select it from 'cheats' easily from the phone later on. Saves pressing a set series of buttons all the time like on the older games.

Which version of Just Cause did you play? I bought the PS2 version when it came out. Clearly dissapointed in graphics but when ever I took a plane into the air my heart throbbed. It was really beautiful and very large. I had to forgive all the losses that game had because of this (I always tried to download the PC version but I always stopped because I didn't know what to exepct, same crap or good things).

More RPG elements to the game.

GTAIV is very Over-rated almost more than Halo 3, GTA Sanandreas is better. It may have been because of 360, some people say but it's still not that great whatever te reason is.

I can say that the main reason was because GTA went back a step with content and game features. Whilst it added new ones but only a few whilst taking away many old ones.
