What genre would you pick?

If RPG encompassed every kind (such as SRPG and RPG) that would be it for me. The stories, the writing, and for some, the tight gameplay, definitly has kept me in gaming more than any other genre. Shooters are fun and all, but its rare for me to get passionate about one (outside of gears and AoT, none really struck me)

Agreed. But I would like an Oblivion styled RPG.

Agreed, in my personal oppinion it involves everything you could possibly want in a game, playability, story, visuals, strategy.  I mean its the one type of genre that people play that goes over one hundred hours easily played singularly and not online.  I don't know if I would be able to embrace gaming the same way if I hadn't have played a Final Fantasy 7 or Legend of Dragoon.  It not only opened my eyes to the gaming world but it made it possible for me to enjoy other genres as well.  RPG's for me are the ultimate source of entertainment and it honestly saddens me when some games end haha.

Hmm... I'm not a big fan of RPGs but Shooters will be my choice...

I mostly like to play RPGs so yeah I would go for Rpg

MMORPG or a normal RPG , you can play such games almost forever.

Action Adventure Games.

MMORPG or a normal RPG like Fable basically because they are the best game's on the market in my eyes

RPGs like obivion, where it never really ends and you can keep doing new stuff

Well FPS.And then of course sports and racing forever.Also Third person games like god of war and mgs!!

3rd person action adventure set up like oblivion, uncharted or tomb raider. yes i know what many of you are thinking oblivion is a RPG but, i like to think of it as an adventure game plus.

I detest RPGs, so it would have to be action/adventure games - Uncharted, Tomb Raider... that kind of thing.

Though having detested RPGs since playing FF VII on my PS1, I am interested in Fallout 3, so...

Either RPG or Platformers. More towards RPGs, FF styled.

I like RPG's that aren't text/script-heavy and you're in control of the character. Spent a crazy amount of time playing PSO and still go back to it every now and then. If you could cross PSO with Uncharted, that's the genre I'd play :)

RPGs with a high customization factor like Disgaea, or a 4X game like Sins of a Solar Empire.
