Just like at the top of the thread, which one is more effective - AC130 or Chopper Gunner?

Gunner.

Chopper Gunner. Although it takes longer to call in.

Depends on map and wether the opposing team are cowards

Chopper Gunner, hands down.

Prefer chopper gunner, but on wasteland AC130 is damn near unstoppable lol.

chopper gunner gets more kills but i still perfer AC130   because it can withstand rocket launchers longer and the aiming its as touchy

Chopper gunner definetely gets more kills and lasts longer when you call it in, but AC-130 blows crud up, and is harder to take down.  I'd have to say that I prefer the AC-130, mostly because it shoots explosives, and you can unlock cooler titles/emblems. (In my opinion)

chopper gunner even though it is quite easy to take it down....ac130 is unstoppable but i go with the gunner because you get a little bit more accuracy with him

I'm still destroying the enemy Choppers. The AC130 is hard to take out, but it gives less number of kills. The Chopper is easy to destroy, but it's more effective.

just depends on the map for me. i  love both and am very effective with both, so does not really matter to me.

Depends what map your on most maps chopper gunner by a mile but on maps such as rust or derail the AC130 is better... Rust because you only have to shot in 4 corners and derail because you can see the whole map but the chopper gunner can't and it wastes half the time its in moving to each spawn. Plus the AC130 is brilliant for multi-kills but that does require alot of luck!

this is very true!

i wish the killstreak was part of the class setup, and could be changed for each class.

the 1 killstreak setup, period, is a little annoying.

No it isnt unstoppable.

I take down every AC-140 I see on the enemy's team.

so the chopper gunner is the best?

 i guess i like the chopper gunner more,but all my freinds use the ac130,but it always gets shot down lol

chopper gunner= effective

ac130=fun!!!
