Following on from our announcement last week where we revealed the official Sony Portable ID exclusively to Playfire members; we are now pleased to unveil our own brand new, fully-automated, Playfire trophy card !
Yep, we've brought back automation! And this time it's lightning fast and doesn't require any login details (all we need is your PSN ID). On top of this we've given the Playfire trophy card a complete visual overhaul making it about 20% smaller than the official card.
We know how much you guys love customising your Trophy cards with themes, so we've massively upgraded our card theming system to now enable you guys to update your trophy card background with any image you like from your dekstop, or choose from the large selection of default themes.
The theming step makes customising your trophy card a breeze! All you have to do is upload an image you like and then reposition & resize it until it looks perfect in the real-time preview.
But the improvements don't stop there! In addition to automation & new custom background themes we've added a bunch of cool, new details to the card such as: PSN Level progression percentage, the number of people you are beating in the leaderboard and your country flag.
And for those interested in stats; the Playfire trophy card has gone from strength to strength since we launched it and is now being served nearly 1 million times.

But when do they auto-update? If they do... it seems the EU cards themselves don't update even when I sync to the server unless I go to the eu.playstation.com site, kinda annoying.
But I've gotten three since I made my card in the past hour and Playfire seems to not want to show them (even though I forced an update on my eu.ps.com card)
So, yeah... when do they auto-update? Or do I have to force update it? 10 months ago
And, I also like that you can use custom images that's cool, but I don't think the trophy level progress and total trophies should be where the recent games played are and the recent games where the trophy level is. Where the recent games played are at now it just kind of looks like it's floating there out of place imo.
And lastly, I don't like the "beating" people thing. It says on my card I'm beating 230 people and I'm fairly certain I'm beating more than that that are on pf's autmoated leaderboards now. I don't mean to picky or even care if it shows my rank or whatnot, Im just saying that info sounds very misleading that Im beating 230 but Im rank 19 out of 1000 at the moment ( I know I'll drop fast as more poeple log into this). 10 months ago

Great Job....Just a question...how come if I am currently ranked 110 on the global leaderboards does it only say beating 522 on the card? Also..my trophy cabinet dates are not updated or in sync with the actual system unlock times from the PS3..like the UK site shows... 10 months ago

I already had a EU gamercard, so I setup my playfire trophycard before I updated the EU one. Afterwards I went to eu.playstation, updated that card to match my recently earned trophies. Then came back to playfire and waited for the playfire trophycard to match the EU one.17 ours later it still did'nt update.
It did'nt automatically update, the only way I got it to sync was to go back to the 'create_widget' page & re-create the autmatic card for it to sync with the eu.playstation one. 10 months ago

the idea is excellent as it will stop trophycard cheats but at the moment it clearly is not in sync with playstation?

The official sony card shows updated, just not the playfire one, also it's kind of annoying once you choose to go automated you can't go back to manually updating your trophies 9 months ago

May I ask a question about the icons on the card? There are serval patterns of icons on the left-bottom area of cards.
1. Nothing.
2. Small icons of throphies.
3. Icons of games(small)
4. Icons of games(big and also a percentage there)
I already made a "custom theme.". It's the pattern 4. The icons are so big and it is hardly to watch my "customized" background image. So I want to change the pattern but I don't know how to do that.
Is it possible for users to choose one of them? or it is selected randomly while making a new card and not changeable? 5 months ago
