Hi everyone,
We know it's been a little while since our last major update, but there's been good reason; we've been working on lots of major new updates!
The first of these is the new 'My Games' system which we've re-designed to make it even easier for you to update your gaming collection as it develops and share it with your friends.
We've made lots of improvements to it; but here's a quick look at the main ones:
- Quick toggle buttons so you can easily mark your games as 'Curently Playing', 'Favorites' or 'Completed'.
- Custom game lists for those that want to sort their collection in more advanced ways. For example; "My favorite retro games".
- Profile Games Cabinet with a wood theme and an optional secondary cabinet for any custom or predefined list of your choice.
- Social Features: See which of your friends have the same games you do, what they think of them and how they rated them.
- Rating and commenting on your games now has an improved interface.
To view the new system in action just click 'My Games' in the sites main navigation whilst logged-in and you will see the brand new interface.

We're going to be sticking with My games for a while now to make it even better, so please post your suggestions in the comments section below and we'll be seriously considering the best ideas.
We are currently working on a new gallery/boxart view (so you can see all your games at a glance), a My Games Overview page designed to tell you interesting things about your collection and a comparison system so you can compare your collections to others to see if you share any of the same games. Expect to see some these new additions in the near future.

and ooh! ooh! my idea that i've always wanted. To expand on the "social features" have a matchmaking system that matches you with people who rate the games the most similar to yours. That way you can find friends easily who have the same games AND the same taste. So like if i gave GTA 4 a 2/5 and Resistance 2 a 5/5, i would find someone who did the same thing! This would really help for making friends. 10 months ago
Ooo I just had a thought. Make themes based on the top 10 places we keep our games, like bed covers, shelves, carpets, glass desk, super model, fridge, freezer (with a cool icy effect!) microwave (rotating lol), space, and even underwater (with FISH!).
