Borderlands, pushing the boundaries
I knew borderlands was going to be awesome. What I didn't know, is that borderlands might very well be the GOTY of '09.
I can already hear the whispers of everyone around me, blasphemy you say, we will always have modern warfare 2! Hold your horses please, I am quite the modern warfare enthusiast (check out my previous blogs), yet I believe they're not gonna top this. Do I have so little faith in modern warfare 2?
No.
But have you played Borderlands? The gun generation system of GearBot, the character classes and skills, the visual effects, the odd and funny visual style, the online co-op that's completely lagless, stable game, never have I gotten stuck or any of that nonsense. And now? Pure awesomeness. The game will never be annoying, always a "drive" to get better guns, funny descriptions, the game is just brutal, I love it. You should try to get into borderlands, it gets even better when you pass lvl25. Actually, ever level after 10 will get awesomer and awesomer. It's the game of games. Let's see them beat this.
