things on my mind at the moment, gaming-wise
[1] Abe's Exoddus is *expletive deleted* difficult, but it's also beautifully difficult. such an amazing game. takes me back to my childhood.
[2] Heavy Rain is being released next month. holy *expletive deleted*. it's going to kick everybody's head in. it'll be heaps better than Fahrenheit I'm assuming...I just finished that recently and it's great, but the storyline went to *expletive deleted* in the last few segments of the game.
[3] finally starting to notice less lag on Uncharted 2's multiplayer. up until now about 80-90% of my competitive matches involved me losing control of my player whenever I came into proximity with someone on the other team, resulting in my character just standing there calmly waiting for a grenade to go off at their feet or until someone picks me off. verrry frustrating and difficult to actually get good. I played for about four hours the other night and experience next to no player control loss (I played a match where I managed to score 25 kills, with a few 5-kill streaks...that's a huge achievement for me). I'm guessing it was either that I was playing with people with really low lag, or my connection was being sensible for once. I wish I could figure out where this problem comes from so that I could feel like I actually want to play U2's multi a lot, because it is great fun. I'm thinking of buying a new router. I'd love to get a better connection also (I'm on Netspace ADSL or something at the moment and it kinda sucks) but I wouldn't be able to afford it.

I highly recommend you check out The Last Express, it's one of my all time favourite games and I actually have a copy (zomfg). Go look at some youtube footage, I can burn you a copy before I see you tomorrow night.
