Well...I've been gone for a good while, perhaps too long, but it isn't because I've abandoned gaming.  No, no...not at all.  I have, both sadly and happily, become newly addicted to Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.  Yes, yes, I know about the catastrophic launch.  I was there, in the beginning, actually, and like so many others I turned tail and ran when the whole ship sank faster than a Titanic in a sea of iceburgs.  Just recently I installed it onto my computer since, well, it was there.  Oh. My. Lord.  It's a night and day difference between the game today and at launch.  My life has gone down the toilet now because this game rocks.  Anyone who is remotely interested in high-fantasy PVE MMO's should do themselves a favor, ignore the initial launch and hate, and try this game for themselves and form their own opinion.  A free trial, Island of Dawn, is on its way, just for those who are interested but can't get their hands on a 10-day Buddy Key.  Okay, back to Vanguard now...
