Seriously, I've wondered that for a while? A game develper wants their game to be played by as many different people as possible right?
Why alienate people by having such rigid control schemes? I means its not like it'd be hard to implement or anything. (Talking about both single and Multiplayer btw).
I get that develpers would want to give their game a unique feel, but there are a lot of people who would not play a game becasue of a strange alien control scheme.
It wouldn't give people an unfair advantage, cause everyone has that same advantage. I mean Resistance 2 had it, thats one of the things I absolutly loved about that game.
You have the COD4/MW2 controls for FPS games, which is REALLY well known because of the games popularity. Most FPS games have this scheme but with small variations like crouch knife buttons switched or something.
For example, my friend hated MAG because of triangle button being 'change stance' instead of 'swap weapon' (which is L2). He's a heavy COD player. I know its petty, but having fully customisable controls would allow a lot more people to get into games and play/buy them more.
no probLem,thought your aLready my friend hehe XD ...
You play valve's pc games, I meant ps3-only valve fanatics ;) You should play more tf2!
